Fiammetta's Forum

2022 → Outcome of the workshop La fabbrica dei polli blockchain held by Bani Brusadin

Fiammetta’s Forum is a speculative prototype for an encrypted blog that envisions a dystopian future where an organization of dark age conspiracy deniers sparks a memetic revolution through a belief system rooted in meme-mysticism. Developed as part of a roleplaying-based workshop exploring experimental design methods, the project imagines a group led by an AI-generated figure—a woman in her 50s—who communicates exclusively through videos and memes to coordinate international outreach and subversive activities. Drawing inspiration from real-world examples of extremist groups using memes to mobilize and spread ideology—such as the cult-like status of Pepe the Frog—the prototype tells the story of how viral content can transcend the digital realm and shape collective belief. By imagining this fictional movement gaining total control, the forum critically reflects on the potential consequences of memetic power and the thin line between online virality and real-world influence.
